Kirsten Goulde brings more than 25 years of experience in executive human resources management to the Oakmont Management Group, where she is senior vice president of human resources. Prior to joining the organization in 2019, she worked in HR leadership positions for a Medicare Advantage health plan, Belmont Village Senior Living and two growing private-duty home care companies.
Goulde oversees the training and development department at Oakmont, where she helped create the Oak & Ivy Academy, a learning portal in the process of being launched organizationwide. The academy will be the umbrella for training efforts and will position Oakmont as a learning organization where individuals can expand and advance in their careers.
She recently completed a three-year term for the California Assisted Living Association, where she vetted proposals for conference sessions about employee engagement, retention, recruitment and leadership development.
During Goulde’s time at Oakmont, the company has grown from 2,600 employees to just under 6,000, an unprecedented 180%+ growth in a span of just three years. This growth has been made possible, in part, by her extensive experience leading acquisition teams and her commitment to people and processes. She personally visits every newly built or acquired community to train new executive and support staff.
Goulde is an active member of the concert choir at her alma mater, Loyola Marymount University, and in the summer of 2022 sang with two different choirs at Carnegie Hall.
Goulde always is working to inspire and encourage others to achieve their own potential while offering top-quality service and support to Oakmont’s residents. She has created pathways for growth for talent at all levels, leading to increased employee satisfaction and retention rates among Oakmont employees.
