Providers have a fantastic chance to showcase their caregiving touches — no matter how grand or small, how complicated or simple — and be recognized nationally for them in the 2019 McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards. Hundreds of providers, of all sizes, have been recognized during the history of the program.
Operators may enter in one or more of the six categories. Submissions are being accepted through July 24.
“Operators continue to innovate and expand the way they harness technology to improve care and operations,” said McKnight’s Vice President and Editorial Director John O’Connor. “We are delighted to provide a forum where some of the best and brightest applications can be shared with the field.”
The annual competition recognizes operators who convey how technology — high or low — has improved care and operations. The categories available are: Quality, High Tech/High Touch, Innovator of the Year, Keep It Super Simple, Safety and (specifically for skilled care operators only) Transitions. Senior living operators have the same categories first five categories, plus Activities (in place of Transitions).
