When it comes to technology, both potential acute-care partners and consumers want to know that long-term care providers are pushing forward.
That’s why the 2019 McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards offers a chance for skilled nursing and assisted living providers to shine. Submissions are being accepted through July 24 at mcknightstechawards.com. The application is free and simple, and winners will receive wide national coverage in McKnight’s publications.
“Technology is only part of the focus: We want to hear about how providers have used it to improve resident care and quality of life,” said McKnight’s Editor James M. Berklan. “We are pleased to provide a forum where programs that might be emulated can be shared with the field.”
The categories are: Quality, High Tech/High Touch, Innovator of the Year, Keep It Super Simple, Safety, and, for skilled care operators, Transitions. Senior living operators have the same categories to choose from, except Activities is in place of Transitions.
Providers are welcome to enter in multiple categories and put forth more than one program, if so desired.
